Hello! I am very excited to be teaching 4th grade this school year. This will be my tenth year teaching at Roan Forest Elementary School. I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Even though I miss the Windy City, I love living in San Antonio. I graduated from Roosevelt High School and pursued my degree at UTSA. I have my BA in Interdisciplinary Studies: Bilingual Generalist EC-6 Concentration.

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends. I love to go on adventures, visiting different trails and parks, travel, shop, and watch sports games. 

I am looking forward to an amazing school year and watching our leaders grow!

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Socorro Esparza y estoy muy emocionada de estar enseñando cuarto grado este año escolar. Este será mi décimo año enseñando en la escuela de Roan Forest. Nací y crecí en Chicago, Illinois. Aunque extraño la ciudad de Chicago, me encanta vivir en San Antonio. Me gradué de la preparatoria Roosevelt y continué mis estudios en UTSA. Tengo mi licenciatura en Interdisciplinary Studies: Bilingual Generalist EC-6 Concentration.

Cuando no estoy enseñando, me encanta pasar tiempo con mi familia y amigos. Me encanta ir de aventuras, visitando diferentes senderos y parques, viajar, ir de compras, y leer libros.
