I was raised in Richmond, Michigan. I joined the military in 1995 as a Combat Medic and traveled the world. I then settled down in San Antonio, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas in San Antonio  in 2010. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a teaching certificate in EC-6. I also have an ESL supplemental Certificate EC-6. This is my 11th year of teaching and my first year at Nimitz Middle School. I love teaching Math and I am involved in extra-curricular activities. Some of them include the National Junior Honor Society(NJHS). I hope to take all that I have learned at UTSA and pass my knowledge and skills onto my students within my community. I have a passion for teaching and an ear for listening. I hope to challenge and inspire the students and fill them with knowledge. Giving students the tools they will need to be successful and preparing them for this ever changing world.
