Ms. Macias

Hello! My name is Emily Macias, and this will be my second year teaching Kindergarten at Roan Forest.

I grew up in NEISD schools, attending Roan Forest for fifth grade, then went to Lopez Middle School and Tejeda Middle School, and graduated from Johnson High School. I also completed my student teaching in a kindergarten class in NEISD. I am proud to now be teaching in the district!

I graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (EC-6) and minors in both Reading and Special Education. I love sharing my passion for learning with my students and helping them grow!

In my free time, I enjoy photography, reading, spending time with family and friends, playing with my dog, and learning new things.

I am looking forward to an amazing year full of learning and fun adventures!
