I am a native Texan and am in my second year teaching at Jackson Middle School. I hold a bachelor's degree in political science from Texas A&M University at Kingsville (Go Javelinas!) and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio (Go Roadrunners!). Prior to teaching, I served in the US Marines, played in mariachi groups and other bands, and worked as a bank compliance officer.

I've made my home here in San Antonio, but I am a world traveler and have so far had the privilege of visiting over 25 countries.  I live here with my two wonderful sons and I love spending time with them. We read books and cook together, sing songs and play guitar, and enjoy day trips out into the hill country and the other surrounding areas.

My passion is to put my knowledge and my experiences around the world to work for the students of NEISD.
