This is my ninth year at Vineyard Ranch and I am so proud and excited to be a part of this wonderful team and campus as Gifted and Talented Teacher. Previously I served as our Instructional Interventionist and Dyslexia Therapist providing reading support and instruction, dyslexia and academic language therapy as well as other interventions and resources to our campus. Prior to holding the IIT position, I was the 5th Grade Reading/Language Arts teacher here for five years. During that time, I enjoyed many exciting district initiatives such as serving as a Curriculum Writer and Textbook Adoption Committee. Before life on The Ranch, I taught ELAR (Pre-AP, GT, On-Level) in North East at the middle school level. 

My teaching career officially started in the Houston suburbs at Cy-Fair ISD. While teaching there I received my master's in Educational Administration and completed my Principal Internship. I earned my bachelor's from the University of Texas in Austin (Hook ‘em!) with a degree in English as a part of the U-Teach program. I am certified in EC-6 Generalist; 4-8 English, Language, Arts and Reading; Gifted and Talented; English as a Second Language; and Special Education.

Teaching is not only my passion but also what I believe is my divine calling. I am honored to teach your children and each one of them helps shape my life's purpose and vision so THANK YOU for entrusting us with them.
