Mrs. Leah Williams
I am excited to be teaching 3rd grade at Encino Park Elementary. I chose this school for my own children, so I know how amazing it is. This will be my 14th year of teaching.
I was born in Louisiana, but at the age of 2, my family moved to Australia. We lived in Australia for almost 9 years. From Australia, we moved to Uvalde where I graduated from high school.
After graduating from Baylor University, I taught in Uvalde, New Braunfels and Alamo Heights. After getting my Master’s degree at Our Lady of the Lake University, I became a librarian at Woodridge Elementary in Alamo Heights ISD before becoming a stay-at-home mom. For the past few years, I have been a SCEED Reading Tutor at Encino Park.
My husband and I will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary next year! We have two wonderful children who attend Johnson High School. Luke is a junior. He plays the tenor saxophone in the Johnson Band. Kate is a freshman. She plays on the Freshman Volleyball Team. They keep us very busy! We also have an adorable Miniature Schnauzer named Cole.
In my spare time, I love to read, play tennis, play board games, travel, and watch college sports(especially the Baylor Bears)
