Hello!
My name is Rebecca Messimer (pronounced Messy-mur). I was born and raised in Dallas, TX. Teaching is a big part of my family, so it was only natural that I became a teacher as well. My father is a retired elementary art teacher, my mother is a retired clinical nurse educator, and my older sister is an guidance counselor for a university.
This will be my tenth year teaching at Montgomery Elementary! I am extremely excited to continue building on your student's knowledge to help shape them into better readers, writers, and mathematicians.
