Greetings to all! I am very excited for this new school year and to see all of our wonderful students and faculty! My name is Treva Benson and this is the beginning of my second year with Montgomery Elementary School. Go Mustangs! This is my 14th year teaching Special Education. I began my teaching career with San Marcos Consolidated Independent School district where I taught as an elementary Low Incidence teacher for two years. Next, I taught in Judson Independent School district as an elementary Life Skills teacher for two years before moving to Woodbridge, Virginia. In Virginia, I was the ID Moderate teacher at a middle school for seven years before moving back home to San Antonio, Texas. 

I am the proud mother of four daughters ages 30, 26,24, and 16. I have an amazing 3 year-old granddaughter and my motivation to return home to Texas in 2019. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, and spending time with family. My favorite sports teams are the San Antonio Spurs and the Pittsburgh Steelers!
