♥ Hi All!  I'm Ms. Nimerick.  I am the Math Acceleration Coach here at Montgomery.  I started teaching math in middle school over a decade ago, focusing on 6th grade math and Algebra.  I came to NEISD to be a Hyper Accelerated Math teacher.  I started at Montgomery five years ago as the Hyper Accelerated Math teacher, and enjoyed my time here so much that I became the Math Acceleration Coach here!  Montgomery is truly a one of a kind school with the most amazing staff and students.  I look forward to being a part of such an amazing team this year! ♥

♦ Fun Facts ♦

⇒ I work with several animal rescues and have fostered all sorts of animals, so you may see ferrets, pigs, dogs, and cats running around my house at any time. 

⇒ My 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Cavazos was my inspiration for becoming a teacher.  She used to bring her guitar to school and sing the multiplication facts for us!

⇒ I come from a family of musicians.  My father taught my brother and I how to play the drums. I have been playing ever since and was even in a band in middle school/high school.

⇒ My favorite number is 8, because when you look at it from a different angle, it represents infinity.
