• Madison JROTC Teams


     

Academic/Leadership Team (JLAB)

The team consists of four (4) primary and two (2) alternates. In three levels of competition, the team answers questions from the JROTC curriculum, SAT/ACT type questions, and current events. The team can earn an opportunity to compete at the national level.

Practice(s): During FLEX

Color Guard/Honor Guard

Open to all cadets and can be all male, female or mixed teams. The team competes throughout the school year at drill and skills meets and presents the Nation’s Colors at school and community events.

Practice(s): Monday - Friday. 7:15 to 8:15 AM

Archery

Open to all cadets, however, a specific number of cadets will be chosen for competitions.

Practice(s): Primarily after school. Specific schedule is TBD.

Orienteering Team

Open to all cadets; cadets will apply their land navigation and orienteering skills learned in class to compete at least twice in the school year. All members are highly encouraged to attend voluntary physical fitness training.

Practice(s): As needed.

Marksmanship Team

Cadets can be part of our Precision or Sporter Class – Our teams compete in numerous matches locally and have routinely advanced and competed at the National Level.

Practice(s): Monday - Friday. 7:30 to 8:30 AM

Raider Team

A physically demanding team open to both males and females. All members must attend afternoon practices on a routine basis and other special designed training sessions.

Practice(s): Monday - Thursday 4:30pm to 5:45pm

E-sports:

Open to all students and cadets. We play specific video games in a team format.

Practice(s): Tuesday & Thursday. 7:15am to 8:30 AM
