Madison Army JROTC
  • Army JROTC at a Glance:

The Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) course is designed to improve the leadership and citizenship skills, while instilling self-esteem, teamwork, and self discipline in each Cadet.  JROTC provides Cadets tools and life skills they will use not only in high school, but more importantly for their “Life after Madison High School” journey.  The Cadets have the opportunity to compete on academic, leadership, drill, physical fitness, and air rifle teams that regularly complete at the national level.  Enrollment and participation in the JROTC Program does NOT obligate the Cadet to serve in any of the Armed Forces at any time.

NEW INFORMATION - In an effort to reduce the amount of paper used, we have shortened our "take home" syllabus/acknowledgment form. A more detailed version is available at Detailed Syllabus for SY 25-26. This document covers practice schedules, letter jacket criteria, cadet promotions, etc. As always, please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.
