I was born January 6th, in the Rio Grande Valley!  I graduated from Texas A&M, San Antonio and began teaching PreK here at Wetmore Elementary last year.  Although I am a new teacher at Wetmore, I have been with the district since 2013. My husband and I have lived in San Antonio cumulatively for over 15 years and absolutely love living here.  Both my boys have grown up in NEISD schools and are happy and thriving. My older son has just graduated from the ETA program at Roosevelt High school and is about to start his first year of college with Alamo Colleges.  To tell you more about myself, my hobbies include painting,  traveling, music, movies and spending time with my wonderful family and friends. My dream has always been to be a Prekindergarten teacher and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to do so here at Wetmore. My favorite part of teaching is working with the students, parents, staff, and administrators. My happiest teaching moments are seeing the discovery in a PreKindergarten's eyes when they finally "get it," and teaching them letters and sounds, numbers and how to count.  My greatest hope for all my students is to prepare them for Kindergarten and have a classroom full of fun hands on learning and that they enjoy their learning experiences that will prepare them for the future.
