Hello Mustang Families, 

Let me start off by saying how excited I am to be working with each of you this school year! No matter what it throws at us, we will get through it TOGETHER! My name is Destiny Bonds and I am the 5th grade Co-Teacher.

This is my 3rd year teaching in NEISD. Prior to teaching in NEISD, I taught 3 years in another district. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and I, too, was once a Mustang! After graduating from high school, I enrolled in San Antonio College where I obtained my associates degree in social work in December of 2014. I transferred to Texas State University and earned my bachelors degree in interdisciplinary studies in May of 2017. I earned my master’s degree in special education in December of 2019. 

In my free time I enjoy gardening, going on walks, and spending time with my loved ones!
