Welcome to third grade! My name is Samantha Coulter and I am beyond excited to meet my new students and their families! This is my fourth year officially teaching at Vineyard Ranch, but I was lucky enough to do my student teaching right here at the Ranch in a second grade class. I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with my bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.

I am very close to my family. I grew up with my mom, dad, twin sister Lexi, and my older sister Rashel. Fun fact, my twin sister, Lexi, doesn’t look like me at all! 

Growing up, my family and I moved around a lot. I was born in Indiana and lived there until I was ten. I still consider myself a Hoosier and am an Indianapolis Colts fan! I then moved to Florida, then to Michigan. The last place that we moved was to San Antonio right before I started high school. I am a proud NEISD graduate of Johnson High School! 

When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy swimming, going to the movies, traveling, baking, playing games, and attending concerts. I also am always cuddling with my dog, Sophie!

I can’t wait for this school year! We are going to have a wonderful time. I am dedicated to providing a loving, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all of my students so that they can grow in every way. I am looking forward to a great year!
