Mrs. Cynthia Jones

Hello!  My name is Mrs. Cynthia Jones (I got by CJ), and I am so excited to be a part of the Regional Day School Program for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing team.  This will be my 9th year teaching. This will be my 5th year teaching at Jackson Middle School.  I graduated from Clark HS in NISD.  I graduated from UTSA with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Math and Science grades 4-8.  I graduated from UTHSCSA with a master's degree in Deaf Education and Hearing Science grades EC-12.  My certifications are in: Math & Science grades 4-8, D/HH EC-12, Generalist EC-6, Special Education EC-12, English as a Second Language (ESL) Supplemental EC-12.  I am married and have 1 daughter.  We have 4 cats. With my passion for teaching our youth, I am thrilled to be an educator.  I believe that all schools need strong knowledgeable educators who care for the next generation.  This year I will bring my professional experiences into the classroom, where students are challenged to think, learn, and create and, with your support, we can make that happen.
