Hello! My name is Mary Payne, and I'm from San Antonio, Texas. I'm in my 7th year of teaching here at Jackson Middle School. I have experience teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade in English, reading and teaching English as a Second Language. This is my first year of teaching YEARBOOK and CREATIVE EXPRESSION as classes and truly could not be more excited!😀 Students and parents are welcome to email me with any questions, and take a look at the other pages to read more about my schedule and classes.

YEARBOOK PRODUCTION (period 2) This course is for students with an interest in reading, writing, photography, and all other things related to producing and creating the Jackson Middle School annual yearbook. This class is intended for 8th grade students, with possible exceptions for 7th graders, based on teachers' discretion and approval. 

CREATIVE EXPRESSION (periods 3, 5, 6, and 8)
This is an elective course taken to build skills in creativity and healthy self-expression. There are no prerequisite requirements for this class, and it is open to all grade levels (6-8 grade).
