Abraham Oviedo

¡Hola y Bienvenidos!

 I am Abraham Oviedo, a Spanish Teacher and Athletics Coach at Jackson Middle School.

I grew up in Brownwood, Texas, and graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.

I am incredibly excited to be teaching Spanish at Jackson Middle School! It's such a wonderful opportunity to share my passion for the language and culture with my students. I can't wait to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment where students can not only learn Spanish but also gain a deeper appreciation for the Spanish-speaking world. I'm looking forward to helping my students develop their language skills and cultural understanding while having a lot of fun along the way.

Sports have always been a significant part of my life, and I have actively participated in soccer, football, track, and cross-country since I was young. With extensive coaching experience, I am eager to bring my passion for athletics to the students at Jackson Middle School, especially in football, basketball, and girls' 8th-grade soccer.

I am committed to creating a positive and supportive environment where students can thrive academically and athletically and believe in the power of sports to teach valuable life lessons. I look forward to this new chapter at Jackson Middle School and am thrilled to grow and thrive with all of you.
