I am super excited about starting another year at Hidden Forest! This will be my seventh year in the Forest, and my 13th year in the classroom. A little bit about me... I grew up in Corpus Christi and moved to San Antonio for college. I graduated with a bachelors degree in Political Science and Sociology from Trinity University, and I now have two masters: one from Trinity University in teaching, and recently, I received a Masters in Administration from Texas A&M San Antonio. I have previously taught fifth grade and fourth grade, but truly love teaching our 5th graders! My husband and I are welcoming our first child this year, Adelaide. We are excited for our new adventure! Some things my husband and I enjoy are traveling, cooking, baking and decorating cookies, visiting my rambunctious nephew, Finn, and niece, Beatrice, who lives in Denver with my brother and sister-in-law, hanging out with our adorable dogs, Baylee and Abby, and watching sports: basketball (Go Spurs Go!), football (I'm a Houston Texans fan and he's a Minnesota Vikings fan), and soccer (Arsenal FC)!  I can't wait to meet all of our incoming 5th graders and I'm looking forward to another great school year in the Forest!
