Ms. Sylvia Soto- 5th Grade Math and Science Bilingual

My name is Ms. Soto and I am excited to be your students teacher for the upcoming school year. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and guiding your child through a successful fifth grade year.

I am the 5th grade science and math dual language teacher and I really enjoy teaching these essential subjects.  I have been instructing multilingual students for several years and my experience as a teacher has shaped a teaching philosophy that guides how I help my students succeed in the classroom and beyond. I truly believe that their success begins with making them comfortable in the classroom and also challenging your students academic abilities by encouraging them to share their questions and discuss science and math concepts in an inviting environment.

My goal is to help your students achieve high academic goals while encouraging them to strive to be exemplary students in the classroom.  I will host several parent/teacher conferences and make sure you're aware of your students' progress throughout the school year.
