Mr. Jackson Edwards

Howdy! My name is Jackson Edwards. I am one of the Adapted Physical Education Teachers for North East Independent School District (NEISD). This is my first year with the District and Encino Park Elementary. Before this school year, I was one of the Behavior Mastery Center (BMC) Teachers in Northside Independent School District (NISD).

I grew up here in San Antonio, Texas. I am a graduate of Brandeis High School (NISD) in 2012. I received my Bachelors of Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) in 2018. I have been Teaching Special Education since 2018. Once receiving my Degree and my Certifications in Physical Education and Special Education, I have strived to combine my two passions to fully engage and support all students to receive quality Physical Education.

Outside of the classroom, I spend my time with my wife, Jessica Edwards and my son Jenson Edwards. My wife Jessica is a 5th Grade Teacher in NISD at Reed Elementary. My son Jenson joined our family on October 16th, 2022. When I am not cooking for my family, we love to spend time going on family walks, family bike rides and family vacations together.

I am blessed to join Encino Park Elementary and North East Independent School District this school year. I look forward to supporting and teaching your children.
