Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year at Harris Middle school! GO HAWKS!!

This will be my fourth year at this great school, and I am excited about meeting many of our new 6th-grade students! This year I will be teaching 6th-grade reading acceleration and will continue to be our campus 504 designee.

I grew up in El Paso, Texas, but moved to San Antonio in 2001. I am a proud graduate from UTSA, GO ROADRUNNERS, and love attending all the football games!!!  I have a wonderful and supportive husband and a beautiful seventeen-year-old daughter who will be a SENIOR this year. My favorite hobbies are reading, writing, and spending quality time with family and friends!

My teaching career began in the Fall of 2007 at East Terrell Hills Elementary, then continued at Colonial Hills Elementary. I have had the pleasure of teaching all grades from Pre-K up to 5th grade in a general, bilingual, dual-language, and special education setting.  I pride myself as a relationship-building teacher, who motivates, inspires, and supports all students, by creating a safe and emotionally supportive classroom.
