Welcome to Harris!!  My name is Lynnet Rodriguez and I am the Family & Consumer Science teacher at Harris.  I have been teaching for NEISD for 13 years.  I have been with Harris Middle School for 3 years and am honored to serve the children in this community.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Science- Nutrition and Foods from Texas State University.  I was a Registered Dietitian for 7 years, but had an opportunity to pursue my teaching certification.  I am glad I made the decision to take that opportunity! I enjoy teaching students skills they can take with them for a lifetime.  Currently, I teach Principles of Human Services and Principles of Hospitality and Tourism.

I enjoy sewing, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family.
