My name is Miguel Martinez and I am excited to show my abilities at Benard Harris Middle School. This will be my 9th year in education and my 3rd at Harris MS. I went to the University of the Incarnate Word and received my Bachelor's in Music Education Degree. While I attended, I played with the Marching Cardinals and the UIW Jazz ensemble. Through my schooling, I taught private lessons to children and their parents using my skills to develop their musicality for UIL Solo and Ensemble, Area Auditions, personal growth, and enjoyment. 

I am married to my amazing wife, Jessica, who is an RN/Case Manager at Methodist Hospital. In our free time, we enjoy many hobbies, starting with gaming, sneakers, and more recently, disk golf!

Born and raised in San Antonio, I'm thrilled to be an Alum of NEISD and ready to show what my upbringing has taught me and impact the life of your child as greatly as my teachers did mine. If you need to contact me, don't hesitate to call or email.
