Hello, 

I am the Art 1 teacher at Harris Middle School. I have been a middle school teacher since 2011. I taught mostly math and science, but now I finally got to be a fine arts teacher. I have always used art to express myself. My goal is to inspire my students to find their artistic passions and learn to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. I moved to San Antonio from Minneapolis, MN in 2022 with my family. I have a great husband, and three pretty awesome kids: Ian, Nora, and Lois. I have two dogs, one cat, and a fish at home, too. In my spare time I play the violin, sew, garden, and organize for labor rights. I have earned a B.A. in Religious Studies from Webster University and my teaching license from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. I'm loving Texas, y'all!
