Hello and welcome to Regency Place Elementary School! My name is Kimberly Bynum and this is my seventh year teaching as a Special Education Resource Teacher.  I love my job and fostering connections and relationships with the teachers, students, and parents, but most importantly, the students I get to see and work with every single day - their presence and hugs make my heart smile!

I grew up in the surrounding San Antonio area, and I have traveled to many places in Mexico; this is how I picked up Spanish as a second language.

Traveling is one of my joys in life. I have traveled to almost all fifty states in the U.S, I have a few more states to visit, including Hawaii. I have been to some areas in Canada, but more cities are on my bucket list, and I would love to travel to Europe one day! 

I love spending my time with my son, family, and close friends, reading books, watching movies, traveling, bicycle rides, baking, swimming, riding roller coasters, and trying new restaurants/places. 

Some of my favorite things are: any shade of blue, seafood, chocolate, coconut, tiramisu, different fruits, all kinds of nuts, hazelnut or peppermint coffee, oriental lilies, fresh lemonade, mangonadas, mint chocolate icecream, cinnamon candy, and so many more...I'm not picky, lol! 

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Criminology from Texas A&M Kingsville and I later obtained my Master’s Degree in Education with a focus in Special Education from Texas A&M San Antonio.
