Hello friends,

My name is Garreth Evans and I am the 5th grade hyper accelerated math (HAM) teacher on campus.  I frequent myriad campuses during my day.  This year I work with students at Jackson Keller, Castle Hills, and Dellview.  I have been a HAM teacher for six years, and prior to that I was a special education teacher at Jackson middle school for seven years.  As a teacher, I have always worked in Northeast - and as a student I also attended Northeast elementary, middle, and high schools as well.  I am a lifelong San Antonian, and I truly enjoy the eclectic mix of ideas and personalities this city has to offer.  I attended college here at both the Alamo Colleges, as well as UTSA.  In addition to teaching, I am also an avid beach volleyball player, guitar player, and sound technician.  I also live in the district, specifically because I enjoy the friendly and welcoming environment the Northeast community has to offer to students, parents, and employees.  There are always so many smiling faces at my campuses each and every day.
