Hello! I am the full time elementary music specialist at Huebner Elementary School. I also serve as the Lead Elementary Music Coordinator for NEISD. In this role, I work with the NEISD Fine Arts office to facilitate mentorship, professional development, relationships, and equipment needs of the elementary music teachers. I am the Director of the Preparatory Choir (ages 5-6) and the Prelude Choir (ages 7-8) for the Children's Chorus of San Antonio.I also teach workshops to other music teachers on the Kodály method of teachingin Texas and across the nation. I am the Southern Division I Representative of my national organization, OAKE and serve as co-chair of the OAKE membership committee. I also teach Folksong Analysis and Research in the Kodály certification programs at Midwestern State University and the Rio Grande Valley in the summer.

I have two children, Mateo (7th grader at Tejeda MS) and Ciela (4th grader at Roan Forest ES).
