I was born in Ft. Hood, Texas and grew up in San Antonio, Texas and Austin, Texas.  I am married to William Duncan and have one child, Hunter.  I grew up in the Northeast ISD having graduated from Churchill High School.  I obtained my B.B.A. in Accounting from The University of Texas at San Antonio and practiced oil and gas accounting for 6 years.  I then obtained my M.D. from St. George's University School of Medicine and practiced as an OB/Gyn physician for 15 years.

     Desiring a change in lifestyle and more time with my family I changed careers.  Having always been interested in elementary education I obtained by teaching certificate in December 2020 from The University of Texas at San Antonio.  I enjoy spending time with my family along with my dog, Ace, and my cat, Sneakers.  I love road trips, movies, cooking, and decorating.  I love working with all the up-and-coming young minds at Regency Place Elementary!
