Mrs. Davila

Hi there! I’m Jamie Davila, and I’m thrilled to be teaching 1st grade this year at Regency Place! This is my 3rd year as a teacher—I started in 4th grade but have truly found my home here with the 1st graders. I’m also a proud member of the Green House of Courage: ISIBINDI! (aka the best HOUSE!)

I was born in Oklahoma but raised right here in San Antonio, Texas. I graduated from UTSA after completing a year of student teaching in 1st grade, and I earned my Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies. I’ve been married for two years, and my husband and I are expecting a baby boy in 2025! We share our home with our 3 cats—Nola, Goose, and Sage—and our 2 dogs, Bacon and Pepper. When I’m not at school, I’m likely binge-watching my favorite shows, reading, cooking, baking, trying out new foods, or spending time with my family.
