Welcome! I'm Ayla Hosty, and I am thrilled to be your 4th-grade teacher this year. This is my 15th year in the teaching profession, and over the years, I have had the pleasure of teaching students from Pre-K through 4th grade. My passion for education and dedication to my students' growth and success have been the driving forces in my career. I look forward to an exciting year of learning and growth together!

I was born and raised here in San Antonio, and I am proud to say that I am a product of NEISD and a graduate of MacArthur—Go Brahmas! I hold my Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University, as well as certifications in English as a Second Language and Gifted and Talented. I am currently working on my Master's to become a diagnostician at Texas A&M San Antonio.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, traveling, being outside, and spending time with my family. My husband, John, and I just celebrated our 13th anniversary. We have two wonderful children. Creighton is beginning 6th grade, and Harper is here at Regency beginning 3rd grade.

I am looking forward to a fabulous year and working with you to instill a love of learning in your child. I cannot wait to meet you!
