Ms. Lesley Garza
Dear Regency Place Community,
It is with great honor and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new principal of Regency Place Elementary. I am deeply committed to upholding the values and mission of our school, and I am excited to bring my 15 years of experience within our wonderful District to the Regency Place family.
I served as the Assistant Principal at Roan Forest Elementary for the past three years. I come to you with 15 years of experience and learning in education as an administrator, classroom teacher, and instructional coach. I firmly believe in the diverse educational opportunities our District has to offer our students. Your input and involvement are crucial in continuing to provide our students with the best educational environment.
I graduated with my Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M International University in Laredo, Texas, and my Master of Education degree in Administration from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.
My three children are products of North East ISD and have participated in many District programs, including the dual language program. I am an advocate of the dual language program both as an educator and a parent. But above all, I am deeply passionate about the equitable academic experience that our District offers to all our students, and I am committed to ensuring this for every child at Regency Place Elementary.
I am excited to begin this new journey with you. I want to assure you that my door is always open, and I am here to listen, learn, and work together with you. Together, we will continue striving to provide your children with the best educational experiences. The partnerships between the staff, families, and community are crucial and play an instrumental role in meeting the needs of every child who attends Regency Place Elementary.
Respectfully,
Lesley Garza
Principal of Regency Place Elementary School
