Welcome to Fifth Grade 2025-2026 ! 

     I am excited to work with your child this year.  This will be my 17th year at Regency Place! 😊. I have taught 1st Grade, 3rd Grade and 5th Grade, and enjoy working with students of all ages.    

  I graduated from Trinity University with a BA in Spanish and French, and later earned certification for EC-8 Bilingual Education. Participating in bicultural and bilingual settings is very important to me and I believe diversity to be one of our greatest human assets.  I am enriched daily by my Regency family: students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.   I consider myself to be a life-long learner and hope to inspire my students to love learning. Teaching young minds and hearts at Regency is indeed the highlight of all my experiences!  

   I am originally from Chicago but have lived in San Antonio for over 40 years. My husband and I have two grown children and 3 ADORABLE grand babies with whom we love to spend time!  🧡  When I am not at school I enjoy walking, reading, cooking, doing cross-stitch, keeping up with friends and family, and a bit of Netflix.    

My goal is to provide a safe and happy classroom community where students can inquire, share, and discover themselves, as well as the world they live in. I look forward to a GREAT 2025-2026 with your child.

¡Bienvenidos al Quinto Grado 2025-2026!

  Estoy emocionada de trabajar con su hijo/a este año. ¡Este será mi 17º año en Regency Place! 😊 He enseñado en primero, tercero y quinto grado, y disfruto trabajar con estudiantes de todas las edades.

  Me gradué de la Universidad Trinity con una licenciatura en Español y Francés, y luego obtuve la certificación para Educación Bilingüe EC-8. Participar en entornos biculturales y bilingües es muy importante para mí, y creo que la diversidad es uno de nuestros mayores valores humanos. Me siento enriquecida cada día por mi familia de Regency: estudiantes, padres, colegas y administradores. Me considero una aprendiz de por vida y espero inspirar a mis estudiantes a amar el aprendizaje tambien. ¡Enseñar a las mentes y corazones jóvenes en Regency es sin duda el punto culminante de todas mis experiencias!

Mi objetivo es proporcionar una comunidad de aula segura y feliz donde los estudiantes puedan indagar, compartir y descubrirse a sí mismos, así como el mundo en el que viven. Espero con ansias un GRAN 2025-2026 junto a su hijo/a.
