I am the music teacher at Las Lomas Elementary! I wasn’t born in Texas, but consider myself a local as I have lived here for all but six months of my life. I discovered my passion for teaching while on a mission trip to Papua New Guinea in 2014 and continued to cultivate that passion by running a private flute and piano studio through high school and my first years of college. I also started a youth orchestra in my local church and taught at summer music camps. I graduated from Texas Lutheran University with my Bachelor of Music Education EC-12 in May of 2021 and completed my first year teaching in Edgewood ISD at Loma Park ES. I cannot wait to share my love for music with the NEISD students and community!
