What are the library's hours?
Posted by:We are open from 7:50 to 4:00 p.m. We are closed Wednesday before school.

If I still have overdue library books, am I allowed to checkout a new book?
Posted by:No. Until you turn in the overdue book, you cannot checkout new books.

How many books can be checked out and for how long?
Posted by:You can check out 3 books for 2 weeks.

Where can I turn in my library books?
Posted by:There are 2 book drops. One is out in the main hall on the left. The other is in the library. It is the slot on the CIRC desk.

Are there fines on overdue library books?
Posted by:We don't have fines. However, you cannot check out another book until the late book is turned in. If you lose a book, you will have to pay the cost of the lost book. Overdue notices are sent through student's school email account.

How do you know if you still have a book out?

Can I still checkout Overdrive books if I have an overdue Wood MS library book?
Posted by:Yes you can.

What are the behavior expectations in the library?

Do I need a pass to come in the library?
Posted by:Yes - Before School
Yes - When a teacher sends you
No- When you come with a class

What does the YA sticker mean?
Posted by:YA means Young Adult. This means that the content has more mature content. It may not be appropriate for your student. Because middle school serves diverse ages including more mature teenagers, the library needs to have books that meets their needs. All of our books are carefully reviewed by professional sources and the librarian before it is purchased.

Are cellphones, earbuds and headphones allowed in the library?
Posted by:No. We are not allowing cell phones, earbuds, air pods and headphones in the library except before or after school.
