This will be my second year with Canyon Ridge as the 5th Grade Co-Teacher. I graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice as well as a Master's degree in Special Education from Texas A&M University. My certifications are in Early Education-4th; 4th Grade-8th; and Special Education K-12.  This year will be the beginning of my 15th year in education and my 7th year with NEISD. I have experience in private school, Special Education in various capacities, Kindergarten and 1st grade. When I'm not at school, I'm usually at home with my family.  I've been married for almost 23 years to my husband Ben, and have a 20-year-old (Jackson) and a 14-year-old (Addison).  I also have a 10 pound dog named Thor who truly lives up to his name when the doorbell rings.  We take NCAA football very seriously in our house, so you'll see me watching a game on Saturday in the fall.  I'm excited about this year and I am looking forward to seeing all of your faces.
