Hello Coyote Students and Families,

Welcome to the School Year 2024-2025! My name is Myra Cavazos. I was born and raised in the Philippines, where I earned my degree in Elementary Education and gained 12 years of teaching experience. I moved to the US in 2007 to continue my journey in education. This will be my third year teaching Kindergarten at Canyon Ridge. 

I feel very passionate about teaching and I want to share this passion with my Kinder Cayotes. It is very important for me that my students not only enjoy learning, but I also want to make sure that every one of my student stay safe and feel safe at all times. I can't wait to go on an exciting adventure with my Kinder explorers and future leaders!
