Las Lomas was honored with Lighthouse Status during the Leader in Me Symposium on January 24, 2014. Las Lomas was designed to be a Leader in Me school, and leadership is even evident in our campus design. Las Lomas is the first LEED School (green certified) to receive Lighthouse Status. In March 2017, Las Lomas proudly became the first NEISD campus to achieve Lighthouse Recertification. We have been most recently recertified as a Lighthouse School of Academic Distinction in December 2018.
