Ms. Landin received her Bachelor’s in Music Studies-Vocal Emphasis, from Texas State University. This is her fifth year teaching in NEISD and her second year at Dellview Elementary! She is extremely excited to be back and revamp the Dellview 4th and 5th Grade Honor Choir for the 2021-2022 school year!
In her achievements, she has been awarded with the Texas Music Educators Association’s Collegiate Music Educator Award, the Texas State Outstanding Undergraduate Choral Music Student, and has received the Shirley Jochec/New Braunfels Music Study Club Memorial Scholarship.
Recently, Ms. Landin has been hired as an administrator of the Texas State University All-State Choir Camp and currently gives private voice and piano lessons. She also serves as the Choral Conductor for a church in San Antonio, and is proud to be assisting the Jackson Middle School Choir Program along side Ms. Jacki Rivera!
On her free time, she loves to go on walks with her chihuaua, disc golf with her husband, and watch Netflix! This Summer of 2021, Ms. Landin married (her now husband), Mr. Pena, who is the Head Choir Director at Eisenhower Middle School, here in NEISD!
The Dellview Music Department is looking forward to having a successful school year filled with hard work, progress and FUN! The music program will provide students with leadership opportunities, guidance, and the resources to help meet music educational needs. You are not just a part of a music class, but rather, you are a part of a family!
