Learning to lead in a technical world
These students are learning to lead in a technical world!
Congratulations to the Roosevelt High School students who successfully qualified to compete in the 2024 Technology Student Association (TSA) state contest this April in Fort Worth. The students who qualified are part of our Design and Technology Academy (DATA) and Engineering & Technologies Academy (ETA).
Out of the 110 projects submitted at TSA regionals, Roosevelt students received 53 first place finishes, 30 second place winners and 19 third place winners.
Roosevelt students will soon compete at the state level in Technology Problem Solving, Graphic Design, Photography, CAD, Coding, Graphic Solution, Fashion Design, Future Teacher and many more STEM-related categories.
TSA is a national association of students engaged in STEM and the arts. The Roosevelt chapter continues to thrive thanks to support from our sponsors and the Career and Technical Education (CTE) team.
Did you know February is National CTE Month? There are so many CTE opportunities across North East ISD schools. See all that Career and Technical Education (CTE) offers.
