Welcome to 1st grade!  My name is Kara Fogelsong, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher for the 2025-26 school year!

This will be my 14th year as an educator.  For the past 7 years, I've been a proud Patriot at Royal Ridge teaching 4th grade, and now I am thrilled to start my new adventure in 1st grade. 😊

I live in San Antonio with my husband Marc and our sweet dog, Sioux, our crazy cat Maggie, and our 2 chickens.  I spend my free time reading, gardening, doing yoga, and being outdoors. I am a former Texas Aggie, class of 2009!

I am honored to be your child's teacher this year, and I look forward to working with you as we help your child grow to their greatest potential!
