Ms. Hidie Cabral
Short Bio
My name is Hidie Cabral, I have been teaching for 21 years. This school year 2024-2025 will be my 13 year teaching in the US, and the fourth one for NEISD. My previous teaching experience includes other Texas ISD as well as international experience in Chile, Perú, Argentina and México.
My educational background includes two B.A.; one in Spanish Literature and a second one in Fine Arts Theatre. I graduated from UTSA obtaining my degree M.A in Bilingual Education and a second Master's Degree in Education Theatre Curriculum & Instruction from SOSU, Oklahoma. I also completed Post Degree studies in Theatre and Pedagogical practices in Santiago de Chile; where I was an assistant Director, and Theatre Teacher for the College Instituto Profesional Teatro la Casa.
This is an exceptional year in my career because I will be able to combine my creative side and my bilingual skills to teach Spanish, Broadcasting and Theatre! I am looking forward to getting to know all our young thespians for a creative and magical school year at Harris MS!
