Welcome to the STEM Academy at Lee High School! I am so excited to be teaching you English I this year. I have been teaching English Language Arts for 14 years in various states as I am a proud military wife. We moved to San Antonio in 2018 from SHAPE, Belgium. My bachelor’s degrees are in German (College of Arts and Sciences)  and Secondary Education: German Instruction (College of Education) from the University of Wyoming with a certification in English (6-12th grade). I have a master’s degree (MS) in Secondary Education: Classroom Technology from Kansas State University. I thoroughly enjoy writing stories and poetry, reading and discussing novels, classical and modern literature - especially science fiction! I am married and have 3 children and two dogs, Brock and Chloe.
