Admission Requirements
STEM Academy is proud to be a public magnet school program providing equal opportunity to students from all backgrounds through our lottery enrollment process. Our diverse student body reflects all NEISD schools across San Antonio, making our community diverse and vibrant.
Unlike many magnet school programs, we do not consider past performance or disciplinary records in our admissions policy. We know that nurturing student strengths and interests holds the key to success. As a result, STEM Academy students consistently excel on the STAAR test, outperforming peers in San Antonio and across Texas.
Applications for the upcoming school year are open annually from October to February. We encourage early submission, as spots are highly sought after and tend to fill up quickly.
-
Step One: Complete the NEISD Magnet Application
