Middle School Magnet Courses
Our middle school courses lay the foundation for a future of innovation and creativity, allowing them to become the innovative leaders and pioneers of the future. We provide unique learning experiences across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics that unleashes each student's individual talents and interests. We invite students to explore our academics and discover their passions as our modern education prepares them for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow.
At the core of STEM Middle School is our driving approach to curriculum, Problem-Based Learning (PBL). This innovative teaching method places real-world challenges at the center of the learning experience, encouraging students to actively explore, analyze, and solve problems within the context of STEM fields.
With PBL, students don't just passively receive information, they engage in hands-on, inquiry-based projects that mirror authentic STEM scenarios. This approach not only deepens their understanding of core concepts but also establishes critical thinking skills and the ability to apply knowledge in practical situations.
Problem-Based Learning aligns seamlessly with our commitment to providing specialized courses, such as Design Challenge, Robotics, Technology, Engineering, and Art. These classes become dynamic laboratories where students can directly apply their problem-solving skills in a collaborative and supportive environment. By including robotics, computer programming, mathematic enrichment, and environmental science curriculum in our courses, we create a modern educational environment that prepares students for future success in STEM-related careers.
STEM Design Challenge
