Hi! I'm Ms. Friou and am happy to begin another year as a special education teacher at Steubing Ranch!  I love to get to know my students and help them grow in their education as well as use their individual talents.  I have taught for over 20 years in elementary schools in both Florida and Texas.

I am the mother of three girls:  Caroline, who works for Tulane University in New Orleans; Rebecca, a student in Boulder, Colorado; and Olivia, a recent graduate of Texas State, who lives in Austin.  I live with a cat named Finn and a Goldendoodle named Maeve. I also have a new grand baby named Eliza!

I enjoy painting, drawing, and reading, as well as watching HGTV and Netflix.

We are looking forward to another special year at Steubing Ranch!
