Hello, my name is Lorena Padilla-Ytuarte, and I am so excited to be your child's 4th grade dual language teacher! I am entering my 20th year of teaching with NEISD and I have also taught 12 years in California in grades K-2nd prior to moving to San Antonio. With NEISD, I have taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade, all in bilingual education. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and graduated with a B. A in Liberal Studies with an emphasis on bilingual education from San Diego State University.

  I am married and have 3 beautiful girls, who all graduated from NEISD! My oldest daughter graduated from UT in Austin. Hook'em horns! My second oldest will be a senior at UT in Austin and my youngest will be a sophomore at Southwestern University and is playing softball. I love spending time with my family and attending their sporting events.

  I am very excited to be your child's new 4th grade dual language teacher at Steubing Ranch and look forward to a great year of learning and fun!
