Hello my name is Lorena Padilla-Ytuarte and I am so excited to be your child's 4th grade dual language teacher! I am entering my 16th year of teaching with NEISD and I have also taught 12 years in California in grades K-2nd prior to moving to San Antonio.  With NEISD, I have taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade, all in bilingual education.  I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and graduated with a B.A in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in bilingual education from San Diego State University.

  I am married with 3 beautiful girls, ages 20, 17, and 15 and two attend attend NEISD schools! My oldest attends UT in Austin. Hook'em horns! All three of my girls are busy athletes and play softball, volleyball, and basketball. I love spending  time with my family and attending their sporting events.

  I am very excited to be your child's new 4th grade dual language teacher at Steubing Ranch and look forward to a great year of learning and fun!
