Welcome! My name is Amanda Micklos and this is my second year at Steubing Ranch. I am so excited to begin my 16th year of teaching!  My passion is Physical Education and my goal is to motivate students and their families to incorprate recreational activites, fitness, and a healty lifestyle into their daily lives. I began my career at MacArthur High School where I was an Athletic Trainer and taught 9-12th grade Physical Education.  After four wonderful years at the high school level, I wanted to pursue elementary Physical Education. This is my 12th year at the elementary level and I absoutley LOVE it. I went to Texas Lutheran University where I earned a BA in Kinesiology with a specilization in Athletic Training. I also earned a MEd in Physical Eduation at Texas State University. I have two awesome kids, a daughter in the 5th grade and my son will be attending Steubing Ranch this year in the dual program. I am super excited to be here at Steubing Ranch and looking forward to another fun and successful year.
