My name is Maria Skaggs, I was born in Mexico, and I am a proud graduate of the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas where I earned a BBA in Accounting.

While I was living in Mexico, I worked as a Public Accountant and professor at the University of Tamaulipas. Also, I developed educational programs with a successful acceptance by The Mexican Secretariat of Public Education.

Years later, I had the opportunity to get involved in the educational area in the USA, getting a bilingual teacher certificate EC-6.

I have had the opportunity to teach a wide variety of students from different backgrounds. As a result, I am a teacher who offers individual and group support, combining multicultural teaching units, and offers positive reinforcement to keep students focused and motivated.

Mi nombre es María Skaggs, nací en México y estoy muy orgullosa de haberme graduado de la Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas donde recibí el título de Contador Público y Auditor.

Mientras vivía en México, trabajé como Contador Público y como profesora en la Universidad de Tamaulipas. También desarrollé un programa educativo que fue aceptado con mucho éxito por la Secretaría de Educación Pública de México.

Años después tuve la oportunidad de involucrarme en el área educativa de EUA, obteniendo mi certificación de maestra EC-6.

He tenido la oportunidad de enseñar a una amplia variedad de estudiantes de diferentes orígenes. Como resultado, soy una maestra que ofrece un apoyo individual y en conjunto, combinando unidades de enseñanza multicultural y ofreciendo estímulos positivos y reforzados para mantener a los estudiantes enfocados y motivados.

Estoy muy emocionada por la oportunidad de trabajar con su hijo en este año escolar y espero que tengamos año escolar feliz y productivo.
