Hello Hornets! My name is Stacey Hurt, and I am a proud graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio—Go Runners! I hold a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Early Childhood Education.

This year marks my 22nd year in education and my 19th year at Hardy Oak. I began my teaching career in San Antonio ISD and have had the joy of teaching first, second, and third grades, with the majority of my experience—15 years—spent in fourth grade. I’m now entering my second year as the Targeted Support Teacher (TST), a role I truly love because it allows me to work with students and teachers across all grade levels.

When I’m not at school, you’ll usually find me with my very energetic Goldendoodle, Finley! I also enjoy going to the movies, attending live concerts, relaxing on the water (beach, lake, or pool—I don’t discriminate!) and cheering on my favorite teams during college football season.

I’m thrilled to be part of the Hardy Oak family and look forward to another fantastic year!
