Hello Hardy Oak Hornets!! My name is Stacey Hurt and I am a proud graduate of UTSA, the University of Texas-San Antonio. Go Runners!! I have a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, specializing in Early Childhood.
This will be my 21st year in Education. I began my teaching career in the San Antonio Independent School District, and have taught first, second, third and fourth grade. For the past 15 years, I have been a fourth grade teacher. This will be my 18th year at Hardy Oak, but my very first year as the Targeted Support Teacher, or TST. Although I am a little sad to leave my fourth grade nuggets, I am super excited for this new adventure.
When I am not teaching, I have several hobbies, but my favorites are spending time with my VERY energetic Goldendoodle, Finely, going to the movies, live concerts, hanging out on the water (beach, lake or pool) and sporting events. College football is one of my absolute favorites.
